THE HUNT

Created in February 2017, this outfit was inspired by the title ‘Hunt Ball’, a hunting social to mark the end of the season.  This design was created to reflect this luxurious event.

​

The colours were drawn from horse riding tack, much of which is black, silver and gold. The chains on the back also correlate to the chains and buckles that can be found within horse riding equipment. Duchess Satin was chosen as it is a heavier weight fabric, appropriate for a ball in late winter, however it is still soft and drapes well, creating a regal line.

​

Designed for a younger clientele, the thigh high slit and netting protruding from the gloves, creates a more relaxed feel to the garment which contradicts the seriousness of the event.  A/W17
